What if my child is shy or uncooperative?

Our photographer Kylie has extensive experience working with children of all ages and temperaments. She creates a fun, relaxed atmosphere and has techniques to help even the shyest children warm up and smile naturally.

What if my baby needs to be fed during the session?

No problem at all! We’re very understanding about feeding breaks, especially for newborn sessions. We’ll pause the session while you feed and settle your baby.

What should we wear?

We recommend coordinating but not matching outfits. We have beautiful maternity gowns available for expecting mothers. During your pre-shoot questionnaire, you can share any specific preferences.

Many clients receive their photos within 24-48 hours for initial viewing. The viewing session can often be scheduled shortly after your photo shoot.

Can we view photos remotely?

Preparation & Concerns

What if we’re not comfortable in front of the camera?

Don’t worry! Jane specialises in making families feel relaxed and natural. Many of our clients mention feeling awkward about photos initially but ending up having a fun, enjoyable experience.

Do you accommodate special needs?

Yes, we’re happy to accommodate accessibility needs, timing constraints, and any special requirements. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

Can extended family join the session?

Absolutely! Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family members are welcome. We’ve successfully photographed groups of 11+ people.

What happens if someone is having a bad day?

We understand that children (and adults!) have off days. Kylie is patient and flexible, using games like peek-a-boo and other techniques to turn frowns into smiles. If needed, we can work around cranky moments.
